56th Hong Kong School Speech Festival
In this contest, a total of 37 students from S1 to S4 and S6 took part in the solo verse speaking, prose reading and Bible reading respectively. What’s more, the whole class of S 2 Faith participated in Choral Speaking for Form 2 Boys non-open. All students received intensive training from mid-September to the end of November. During the first week of November, all contestants attended a preliminary performance in our school in order to gain more confidence in performing in front of the audience and to learn from one another the techniques of reciting a poem, reading a prose and the Bible.
As the proverb goes, "Nothing venture, nothing gain". Through the painstaking effort of both students and teachers plus a stroke of luck, we did give a high standard of performance in the contest and achieve excellent results that listed below. If this spirit continues, students will strive for even better results next year.
