Drama
Our school participated actively in drama activities this year. In November, five Secondary 4 students took part in a pilot competition called “Speak Up – Act Out!” held by the Education Bureau. It was an online drama competition in which students had to complete a 5-minute drama performance by voice. What’s more, they were not allowed to prepare their scripts in advance. It was challenging but rewarding for the students. Also, some of our students attended courses held by Shakespeare4All and performed Julius Caesar on stage in the Yuen Long Theatre. Attention was drawn to the use of dialogues, stage direction and body language.
English Café
Every school day at English Café, students can play English games or chat with English Ambassadors and English teachers while enjoying the drinks. We offer a decent and delightful venue for authentic English communication and an opportunity for students to share their happy moments with friends and teachers.
English Morning Assembly
Held once a week, the English morning assembly gives students ample opportunities to hone their English skills. Teachers and students tell inspiring stories, give motivational speeches and share their favourite books.
