Student development Domain

We are devoted to cultivating students’good moral characters and positive life values and achieving the goal of all-round education so as to nurture positive and dynamic “ St. Joanians” through positive education.

Guidance and Discipline Committee aims to

1. cultivate students' positive life attitude.
2. improve students' sense of responsibility and self-discipline.

Regular activities/works :

• Form teacher meetings are arranged to maintain good communication between discipline/guidance teachers and class teachers.
• The "Secondary One Orientation Week" enables new students to get to know the school and prepare for secondary school life. At the same time, they can make friends with senior students to build up a supporting network.  We hope that a harmonious and caring culture can be established in the school.
• The "Harmony and Inclusion Campaign" builds up a supporting network for students through group activities and promotes a culture of care and mutual support in the school.
• The aim of the "Prefect Training  Programme" is to enhance students' leadership, self-discipline and self-management skills.
• "S1 Buddy Program" trains senior students to serve as "life leaders", allowing them to provide assistance and support to their Secondary One schoolmates. It helps cultivate their sense of responsibility and promote a culture of care and mutual support among students.
• The "Add Oil Station Programme" aims to enhance students' self-confidence and develop their potential through a series of group activities.
• The "Broaden Your Life with Friends Program" increases students' knowledge and understanding of the workplace. It guides them to explore their own career paths and prepare for challenges ahead.
• The "Newly Arrived School Children Program" builds up a supporting network for students  through group activities, and lets students get to know more about  the society through outings, so that students can adapt to the new environment as soon as possible.
• The "I Love My Classroom Cleaning Competition" cultivates students' sense of morality and makes them understand the importance of keeping the campus clean.
