The St. Joan of Arc Secondary School Speech Day 2021-2022 took place on Saturday, 4th June 2022.
The ceremony began with an impressive video titled “2021-2022 in Retrospect” which gave the audience a quick reminiscence of how the six years of secondary schooling went by with toil, labour and jubilance.
In the opening prayer, our Supervisor, Mr. Santiago Chuen Kwok Wai reminded all the good works of the Holy Spirit. Embedded with strong faith, all S6 graduates were strengthened with hope and confidence to withstand the ongoing stress throughout the DSE process.
Our Guest of Honour, alumnus, Dr Lau, enriched everyone with words of wisdom, reminding all present the importance preparedness and civic responsibility in life. His genuine support to his alma mater and pride in being a St. Joanian was highly welcomed among the graduates. His reassurance that the school would always be their home for moral and spiritual support was welcomed by all in unison.
Sobias Chloe and Poon Chiu Ting of S6FA delivered their touching vote of thanks with due respect and solemn gratitude to all who helped them throughout their journey in SJA. This was followed by a session of prize presentation to outstanding students who showed excellence in academic achievements in various domains.
The Speech Day ended with the singing of the School Song, reiterating the SJA school spirit in another level.
