S4 students participated in the "Kaiping and Yangjiang Cultural and Maritime Silk Road Study Tour" from March 25th to 27th. The students took the high-speed railway to Kaiping, where they visited Chikan Ancient Town, Kaiping Diaolou, and the Yangjiang Maritime Silk Road Museum. They also visited Baoshu Middle School there to interact with local teachers and students, gaining an understanding of the social, economic, and cultural development as well as the learning and lifestyle of local students in mainland China. Our students have been interviewed by CCTV to express their feelings toward this tour.

The mainland tour is part of the curriculum of Citizenship and Social Development, the aim is to enhance students’ learning and understanding of our Country and her recent development, and also enhance students’ national identity.
