On 23rd April, 24, five of our S3 students participated in the Speak Up - Act Out drama competition organised by the NET Section of the Education Bureau. Our students crafted a compelling script in response to the visual stimulus provided, a picture by the artist Rob Sketcherman. Among the 74 teams from 58 schools, our team stood out in their outstanding performance, which wowed the audience with their improvisational skills and superb articulation.
Our drama team then went the extra mile to showcase their work to the whole school on 9th May 2024. Watching a live drama has been a mesmerising and educational experience for all students. Everyone was so captivated by the 5-minute drama that it seemed like we were all on the ferry from Ap Lei Chau to Aberdeen. We look forward to producing more onstage productions to unleash the potential of our talented St Joanians.
