The Information Literacy Week was held from October 14 to 18, aiming to enhance students' information literacy and strengthen their awareness of safety in the digital environment. The activities included:
Lectures on Respecting Intellectual Property and Preventing Cyberbullying: Experts shared insights on the importance of intellectual property and how to identify and prevent cyberbullying.
Exhibition on Fraud Prevention and Personal Data Protection: This exhibition provided information on fraud prevention and demonstrated effective ways to protect personal data.
Interactive Booth Games: Engaging games encouraged student participation and learning, enhancing their practical skills.
Through these activities, students were able to better apply information literacy in their daily lives, improving their safety awareness and preventive capabilities.
In addition to the activities, information literacy was integrated into the curriculum. In English and Citizenship and Social Development classes, teachers used relevant worksheets and instructional strategies to deepen and reinforce students' understanding and practice of information literacy. This approach helps students apply the skills they learn in real-life contexts, further enhancing their ability to navigate and utilize information effectively.
