July 16 marked the last school day of this academic year. After the flag-raising ceremony, the principal encouraged students to be courageous in trying new things and to be creative and flexible, actively responding to this year’s theme: “Wisdom.” Students were also encouraged to plan their time well during the summer holidays and to discover their own potential.
Afterwards, the Student Development Team led everyone in reviewing the various activities of the school year. The Religious Committee then held a simple yet solemn closing Bible Service, giving thanks to the Lord for His guidance and care over the past year, and praying for the Holy Spirit to continue to keep everyone safe, peace and healthy.
Before the awards ceremony began, students who won 2nd-runner up in an external English drama competition gave a wonderful performance. Afterwards, the school presented both academic and non-academic awards to recognize students’ hard work and achievements. Finally, students returned to their classrooms to receive their report cards from their class teachers, officially starting the long-awaited summer holiday.
