2025-05-25Kai Tak Sports Park Joypolis Sport Training
Students who participated in the 2024-25 Leadership Training Programme went to JOYPOLIS SPORTS, Health and Wellness Centre at Kai Tak Sports Park on 25th May 2025 (Sun) to experience futuristic interactive sports activities which not only allowed them to exercise but also had fun. The nearby Kai Tak Stadium and Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground are also popular attractions. They are the largest comprehensive sports and entertainment landmarks in Hong Kong.
2025-05-12Sichuan Sister school visits
On May 12th, the new sister school guest, Ms Xu Qing, visited: After the morning lion dance welcome ceremony, classroom observation activities, and exchanges between teachers, students and guests, the understanding between the sister schools was deepened. This marked a delightful first step toward further collaboration in the coming year.

May 10th is a significant day for our school as we formalize our sister-school relationship with Shishi Eastern New District Experimental School in Chengdu, Sichuan. We eagerly anticipate the various teacher and students exchanges that will unfold in the coming year.
2025-05-10The 41st Catholic Diocesan Secondary Schools Mathematics Competition
Six of our S5 students participated in the 41st Catholic Diocesan Secondary Schools Mathematics Competition. They engaged earnestly and strived to do their best in both the individual and team events. This was a valuable learning experience, and we believe they will all gain something from it.
2025-05-09Sharing of Alumnus Dr. Ho To Sum, George
In May 2025, alumnus Dr. Ho To Sum, George, currently the Programme Director of BBA-SCM Programme of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, came to the school to share with his Form 4 students. In addition to sharing his campus life, he also focused on sharing his own learning experience, how to prepare for pub-lic examinations, and the future development and application of AI, which bene-fited his younger classmates a lot and reminded them how to equip themselves to prepare for future challenges.
2025-05-02Family-child Movie Appreciation Event
A parent-child movie appreciation event was held on the evening of March 7, 2025. That night, a total of more than sixty parents, students and teachers watched “The Legends of the Condor Heroes: The Gallants” together. After watching the movie, the teachers shared with the audience and conducted a Q&A session. Everyone felt the protagonist's love and passion for the country.
2025-05-02Parent-child Picnic
A parent-child Picnic to Tai O was held on April 27, 2025. A group of more than 40 people set out in the rain that day. Fortunately, the weather was good and it had improved when they arrived in Tai O. Activities on the day included positive group games, lucky draws and hiking. The relationship between parents and children, teachers and students, and parents and schools has been greatly enhanced.

2025-04-16M+ Collections Exhibition Tour and Workshop
On 20th March 2024, as part of Chinese Culture Week, our school organized a visit for a group of secondary one students to attend a guided exhibition tour and work-shop hosted by M+ with the theme on “Social Engagement Experiments of Chinese Contemporary Artists.” Guided by contemporary China's socio-political context, the students examined post-reform and opening-up social transformations through ex-hibits that provided alternative viewpoints. The workshop facilitators employed a board game to engage students in designing their own tasks and challenges, it ena-bled them to experience diverse modes of individual and collaborative artistic crea-tion. Through this immersive program, the students refined their ability to analyze distinctive forms of contemporary Chinese art, evaluated the cultural impact of Chi-nese artists on society, and explored the dynamic, adaptable role of artists in shaping discourse.
2025-04-15National Security Education Day
Our school organized a series of activities to mark the important milestone of the 10th anniversary of National Security Education Day, aiming to deepen students' awareness of national security. On the day, a teacher shared insights during the flag-raising ceremony, followed by class teachers explaining the importance of national security during class teachers’ sessions. Students also visited the covered playground to view exhibition panels introducing different aspects of national security. They then participated in a national security quiz game and a poster design competition. Throughout the activities, all students (including non-Chinese-speaking students) were highly engaged, gaining a more comprehensive understanding of national secu-rity knowledge and its significance.
2025-04-15Exploration of the Motherland's Ecological Experiential Activity
Our S4 Biology students participated in the Exploration of the Motherland's Ecological Experiential Activity organized by the Quality Education Resources Center on April 15. The lecturer allowed the students to observe and have contact with various live animals, including the Japanese rhinoceros beetle, ball python, gecko, chameleon, lizard, etc. The students were enabled to recognize the biological characteristics of these animals and use the dichotomous key for classification, so as to have a deeper understanding of biodiversity. In addition, the lecturer displayed the specimen of the Euchiridae, a second-class protected wild animal in China. The lecturer also explained the policies of the Ministry of State Security and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration in terms of ecological security, enabling the students to understand the measures taken by the country to address ecological security issues and China's conservation achievements.
2025-04-08CCA Leadership Training Program Volunteer Service Day 8/3 (Preparation Day) & 22/3 (Volunteer Service Day)
Students participating in the leadership training programme first planned different stall games for the elderly on the preparation day. Then, on the day of volunteer service, they role-played and served as staff at different stalls in Wu Kai Sha Youth Village, interacting with dozens of elderly people. In addition to bringing joy and different supplies to the elderly, they also taught the elderly different tips to prevent fraud through role-playing. The experience also helps the students improve in different aspects such as event planning, teamwork, leadership skills and fraud prevention awareness in the future.

Our F.5 Diploma in Physical Education students led the entire school in a stretching exercise! They took charge of all aspects of the event, including preparation, movement analysis, video production, and serving as instructors on the day. It was a day filled with energy, getting everyone ready to learn!
2025-03-28Traditional Chinese Games and Hanfu Photography Event
The Traditional Chinese Games and Hanfu Photography Event successfully concluded on March 21 (Friday), attracting enthusiastic participation from numerous students. This event aimed to promote traditional Chinese culture, allowing students to experience the joy of traditional games such as kicking the shuttlecock, spinning tops, plate spinning, and throwing pots. Dressed in beautiful Hanfu, students fully enjoyed the fun of the games while capturing memorable moments through photography. This activity not on-ly enhanced students' understanding of Chinese culture but also fostered their teamwork spirit. We look forward to more similar events in the future!

The Shaolin Martial Arts Promotion Event was successfully held on March 21 (Thurs-day), attracting enthusiastic participation from students and teachers alike. This event aimed to promote Chinese martial arts culture and allow students to experience the es-sence of Shaolin martial arts firsthand. Under the guidance of professional martial arts coaches, participants not only enjoyed exciting martial arts performances but also learned basic movements and techniques. The event enhanced students' understanding of traditional Chinese culture and sparked their interest in martial arts, laying a founda-tion for future learning. We look forward to more similar events in the future!

The Face Mask Making Workshop was successfully held on March 19 (Wednesday), attracting enthusiastic participation from numerous students. This event aimed to pro-mote the outstanding traditional culture of China, allowing students to experience the unique charm of face mask art firsthand. Under the guidance of professional instructors, students gained insights into the historical background and techniques of face mask making, creating a series of uniquely personal pieces. This activity not only enhanced students' understanding of traditional Chinese culture but also sparked their creativity and artistic potential. The Nezha2 Film Appreciation Event was successfully held on March 19 (Wednesday), attracting many students to participate. This event aimed to introduce students to tradi-tional Chinese mythology culture, allowing them to experience Nezha's bravery and resilience through the captivating animated film. During the screening, students not only enjoyed a visual feast but also contemplated the character's growth and self-redemption. This event enhanced students' understanding of Chinese culture and fostered their in-terest in animation art. We look forward to more similar events in the future!

The Chinese Music Culture Introduction Session was successfully held on March 18 (Tuesday)! This event attracted numerous students and aimed to provide an in-depth introduction to the history, characteristics, and charm of Chinese music. Through watching short videos of Chinese music performances, students were able to experience the unique essence of Chinese music firsthand and enhance their understanding of Chi-nese musical culture. We thank all participants for their enthusiastic support and look forward to more similar events in the future to promote Chinese culture together!

The Chinese Culture Book Fair has successfully concluded! This event attracted nu-merous teachers and students, who came together to explore the rich heritage of Chi-nese culture. The fair showcased various classic literature and modern works, featuring engaging lectures that sparked students' curiosity and enthusiasm for reading. We thank all participants for their support and look forward to seeing everyone next year!
