2025-01-23St. Jude's Church - The Rite of Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens
On January 18 2025, two students from our school participated in the rite of acceptance into the order of catechumens during the mass at St. Jude's Church. May the Lord's seeds bless them, taking root and growing strong like a mustard seed.
2025-01-22Volunteer Training Program of taking care the Elderly
The CYC and SJA Volunteer Service Team students completed the Volunteer Training Program of taking care the Elderly and obtained certificates. They learned the skill of taking care and communicating with the elderly, it enhancing their sense of respon-sibility and confidence in community service.

The CYC and SJA Volunteer Service Team students completed the Art Companion Vol-unteer Training Program and successfully obtained certificates. They learned skills of serving others through the art creation, it helped the student to enhance their com-munication skills with others and self-confidence.
2025-01-182025 Eastern District Crime Fighting and Anti-Drug Carnival
Our student, Carpela Bruce Kian Kurby Bernardino from Class 3 Hope, has been invited as a guest performer at the Eastern District Crime Fighting and Anti-Drug Carnival, organized by the Eastern District Crime Fighting Committee, to promote the Basic Law. Although he is a non-Chinese speaking student, he performed many beautiful Cantonese songs on his own to convey a positive message, which was truly impressive.
2025-01-18Catholic Society Exchange Event
On January 18, 2025, representatives from our school's Catholic Society attended the Catholic College and Secondary School Exchange Day at St. Francis University. On this day, participants from various secondary schools engaged in campus exploration activities and had in-depth discussions with representatives from the Catholic Society of different universities, sharing experiences with one another. Additionally, our representatives participated in a Mass service, which not only en-hanced their understanding of the Catholic faith but also helped them clarify their future goals and direction. This event not only fostered communication among students but also deepened their awareness and commitment to their future and faith.
2025-01-17Enhanced Smart Teen Project 24-25
Students participated in the " Enhanced Smart Teen Project 24-25" jointly orga-nized by the Education Bureau and the Fire Services Department from 13th to 17th January 2025. They learned basic firefighting knowledge and participated in various firefighting simulation activities, including "black box training", "water exercise" and basic marching exercise, etc., students Said they had benefited greatly and gained valuable insights from the camp.
2025-01-10iTeen Integrity Interactive Drama
On January 10, our school invited the Community Relations Office of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) to educate students about the harms of corrup-tion. Through an interactive drama, the session used a lively and engaging approach with various scenarios to guide students in thinking about the correct ways to handle situations. It conveyed the spirit of anti-corruption legislation and promoted positive values such as honesty, fairness, integrity, and the importance of family ties.

2024-12-11Harmony Scholarships Scheme 202324 Adventure-based Experiential Training Day Camp
Two F.5 students from our school, RAEKA SHERCHAN and YU ALLISON DEI MODESTO, represented SJA in the Harmony Scholarships Scheme 2023/24 Adventure-based Experiential Training Day Camp for Youths organized by the Hong Kong Home Affairs Department. Through this event, they enhanced the confidence, sense of responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving skills of Non-Chinese speaking students. It is hoped that in the future, these two students will continue to represent the school, participate in more diverse activities, enrich themselves, and broaden their life experiences.

2024-10-31Calligraphy 1000 – Celebrating the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

2 Hope WONG SIU TSANG and 5 Faith KUNG CHIU YING were selected as one of the 75 outstanding works by the Education Bureau in the " Calligraphy 1000 – Celebrating the Founding of the People’s Republic of China” for primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. Their outstanding performance is hereby commended.

2024-10-30Cultivating People with Morality Chapter-I Love My Motherland Golden Bauhinia Cup Hong Kong Inter School Essay and Mandarin Recitation Competition

2 Faith Deng Jia Xuan Casey and 5 Faith Kung Chiu Ying participated in the "Learning Morality and Building People" - I Love My Motherland - the Golden Bauhinia Cup Hong Kong Inter-school Composition and Mandarin Recitation Competition, and won the Merit Award for their outstanding performance. They are hereby commended.

3 Hope Eraes Richyl Eriln designed the cover of the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance folder in 2023-2024. Her performance is outstanding and she is hereby commended.

2024-10-20Hong Kong Cross Country Championships 2024
My school's cross-country team members participated in the Hong Kong Cross Country Championships 2024 organized by the HKAAA on October 20, 2024, and achieved excellent results. Lai Tin Long, a student from Form 6 Justice, won the individual 2nd runner-up in the Men's Junior category.

2024-10-10Students participated in "Stamps Tell Stories” Exhibition
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, students participated in "Stamps Tell Stories” Exhibition organized by the Hong Kong Post on October 10, 2024. The theme of the stamp gallery was about the development of Hong Kong. Joining the guided tour allowed students to learn more about the development of the country and Hong Kong through stamps. They also visited the modern postal facilities at the Central Mail Center and learned about the mail processing process.

Our school‘s Life planning education unit and non-Chinese speaking student support unit brought non-Chinese speaking students from S.3 to attend the " roject J 3.0 Newly Emerged Sports Fun Day cum Kick-off Ceremony " organized by the Correctional Services Department to experience emerging sports and understand the daily operations of the Correctional Services Department.
