ST. Joan of Arc Secondary School

宗旨

  1. To improve students' abilities in reading, writing, listening and speaking in Chinese language, so that students can communicate with others in Hong Kong and promote communion.
    提高學生中國語文科之讀、寫、聽、說能力,讓學生能在香港以中文與他人溝通,促進共融。
  2. To cultivate students' understanding of Chinese culture, thereby develop their sense of identity with Chinese culture.
    培養學生對中國文化的認識,從而引發其對中華文化產生認同感。
  3. To provoke students' thinking, nurture their moral characters, implement moral education, establish proper values, and foster their sense of responsibility to society.
    啟發學生的思想,培養其品德,推行德育培養,建立學生正確的價值觀,並培養其對社會的責任感。

We have closely cooperated with the Education Bureau to compile a comprehensive school-based curriculum from S1 to S6 in accordance with the Second Language Learning Framework of the Chinese Language Curriculum. The school-based curriculum focuses on the communicative needs of NCS students, guiding them to learn Chinese systematically.
與教育局合作,依照中國語文課程第二語言學習架構,編寫中一至中六的完整校本課程。校本課程針對非華語學生所需,循序漸進,有系統地學習中文。

Most of our students have successfully obtained recognized results in the public examination, which satisfy the admission requirements concerning Chinese Language for NCS applicants in JUPAS. They could apply for local universities in the same way as their Chinese peers. Meanwhile, many of our students obtained the highest grades in the public examination.
大部分學生在公開考試中也能考獲認可成績,符合「大學聯招辦法」中,對非華語申請者的中國語文成績入學要求,與華籍學生一同報讀本地大學。不少學生更能考獲最高等級成績。

Chinese cultural activities are regularly held to allow NCS students to get a glimpse of the beauty of Chinese culture and encourage them to appreciate it.
定期舉辦中國文化活動,讓非華語學生體會到中華文化之粹美,引發他們對中華文化的認同。
