The school librarian visited the Basic Law Library on November 28 (Thursday). This event deepened the students' understanding of the Basic Law and its related books, and students greatly benefited from the experience.

CHAN SUM YU      3 Charity

After visiting the Basic Law Library, I realized that the Basic Law is the cornerstone of Hong Kong's legal system and serves as a foundation for national governance and social order. The Basic Law made me understand that everyone is equal before the law, and each person's legal rights and interests are protected by the law.

 

DONG SZE YIN      3 Charity

After visiting the Basic Law Library, I realized that the Basic Law is a standard for our behavior. We must learn, understand, practice, and reflect on the spirit of the Basic Law. Only by truly understanding the Basic Law can we adhere to the law.

After visiting the Basic Law Library, I felt as if I had witnessed the changing tides of history, as I saw various unequal treaties such as the Treaty of Nanking and the Treaty of Beijing. The saying "weak nations lack diplomacy" resonates with me, and I hope for my country to become even stronger.

After visiting the Basic Law Library, I gained a deeper understanding of the profound impact of the Basic Law on Hong Kong society, which also helped me better grasp the spirit of "one country, two systems." This was a very meaningful learning experience.

Through the careful explanations by the librarian from the Basic Law Library, I realized how important the Basic Law is for both Hong Kong and our country.
