On 17th November, senior secondary Geography students from our school participated in a field study programme organised by the Caritas Chan Chun Ha Field Studies Centre. Through the programme's "Drifting Classroom", they gained an understanding of the relationship between external forces and river channel characteristics, as well as the formation of various landforms. The students were also encouraged to respect and cherish rivers and natural ecosystems during the study, while recognising the importance of river water quality to the water resources of both the nation and Hong Kong.
Additionally, on 20th November, Class 3Hope students conducted a field study in the Cheung Sha Wan Industrial Area. The activity primarily focused on investigating industrial activities and changes in land use in Cheung Sha Wan. They also used instruments to measure the environmental quality of the area, allowing them to perceive the interconnections and interdependencies between different locations.
