On January 13, senior form students from the Ethics and Religious Studies and Geography participated in the " Journeys of Reflection: Life, Death, and Meaning" exploration trip organized by St. James' Settlement and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department. The students first visited Man Mo Temple, a funeral material’s store, and funeral sites to understand local burial practices and green funerals, helping them integrate past experiences into personal growth.
In the afternoon, students went to the Ark Life Education House to taste different flavored candies, symbolizing our memories and experiences of life. Through experiential activities, they personally experienced partings and the impact of death. After completing the exploration journey, students understood that death reminds us to cherish and accept life as a precious gift, fostering gratitude and appreciation.
