On May 28th, students from our school visited the "Messengers of Hope: Exhibition on the History of the Diocese," retracing the steps of our predecessors. From the vestments of past bishops and priests to the episcopal crosiers, from introductions to diocesan schools to vintage Caritas raffle tickets, each artifact guided them through a step-by-step review of the Diocese’s historical footprints in Hong Kong.
At the end of the tour, everyone's gaze lingered upon the "Letter of Establishment of the Hong Kong Diocese." The light shining from it serves as a powerful reminder for us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, and to faithfully continue playing our part in evangelization within the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong.
Furthermore, we are immensely proud that our S6 graduates—CHAN YUI LAM, HO CHO KIU, WONG TSZ TO BRIAN, and YEUNG KWAN HO—had the honor of serving as tour guides for this exhibition. They assisted with the daily operations and helped more people discover the footprints of the Church. They jokingly promised that they would still be ready to contribute to the Diocese for its 90th and 100th anniversaries, fully committing themselves to being true messengers of hope.
