To enhance new students' and parents' understanding of the school's educational philosophy and campus life, our school successfully held the "New Student Parents' Day" on Saturday, 29 August 2026.

The event was rich and fulfilling. It commenced with a welcoming address delivered by Principal Ms. Yvonne Ho, who encouraged new students to actively embrace their secondary school life. Following this, Mr. Vincent Lau, Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), shared the vision for home-school cooperation. The school management team also provided parents with a comprehensive overview of the "Learning and Teaching" strategies, "Student Development" directions, the SJA Smart Portal system, and the Secondary 1 "One Student, One Instrument" Scheme, giving parents an in-depth understanding of the school's diverse educational approach.

A major highlight of this year's event was the interactive parent-child seminar entitled "Adapting to Secondary School and Parent-Child Communication Skills," where parents and students participated together to foster mutual understanding. Furthermore, parents met with class teachers to gain deeper insights into the school and strengthen teacher-parent communication, laying a solid foundation for home-school partnership. 

Finally, promotional booths were set up in the school hall by uniformed groups such as the 48th Hong Kong Scout Group and Hong Kong Red Cross Youth Unit 16, alongside music demonstrations, school team showcases, and introductions to life-wide learning activities, encouraging new students to take part in diverse pursuits.
