Principal's Message (2019-2020)

It is my great honour and pleasure to take up the position of the Principal of St Joan of Arc Secondary School, which is a well-established and renowned school located at the peak of Braemar Hill, Hong Kong.

In the school year 2019/20, I have left my original school, in which I have been working for almost 20 years and commence a new journey in my career path, being the Principal. As foreseen, a lot of challenges appear from time to time. However, with the guidance and wisdom given by the almighty God, I am confident to take the lead and work closely with a team of professional teachers and staff to turn over a new leaf in SJA’s history.

Upholding the five core Catholic Education values, namely Justice, Truth, Love, Family and Life, the school is devoted to promoting whole-personal development and providing students with balanced learning opportunities in the six aspects of development, i.e. moral, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and spiritual as well as nurturing them to be responsible citizens.

St. Joanian, you are promoted to different forms in a new school year. You may encounter new friends and teachers, take new subjects, or join new extra-curricular activities. Perhaps a lot of uncertainties and challenges lie ahead of us. Don’t worry! God, teachers, family and friends always accompany you. Let’s live our lives with courage to clear obstacles and explore an extraordinary adventure during your golden period of growth at St. Joan of Arc Secondary School.
